📋 Description

• Assist with Security and IT-related Technical Service Desk tickets • Serve as the first touch point for user support, including investigation, resolution, and escalation • Assist with access-control changes, SCIM onboarding automation, and user provisioning/deprovisioning • Configure, administer, and maintain Atlassian Cloud products • Perform security and IT administrative tasks involving auditing, access management, and user licensing • Respond to, resolve, or escalate security incidents and investigations • Support secure and ethical implementation and operation of AI systems and organizational data • Monitor and investigate SOC and SIEM alerts, network traffic, suspicious activity, and security events as a first-level responder • Develop and maintain documentation supporting security, compliance, and certification requirements including ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR • Administer endpoint protection and security/data protection technologies including EDR, MDM, SASE, DLP, DarkOps, and brand protection services • Establish standardized security and IT service processes and hardened system configuration baselines • Assist with patching, updates, vulnerability management, endpoint and asset standardization, and MDM policy enforcement • Collaborate with teams across the organization; report directly to the Head of Information Security

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to provide security and IT-related coverage ahead of the US East Coast time zone • Prior experience as a Security and IT generalist in environments with diverse technologies • Experience managing equipment and software across a distributed, remote, and decentralized global workforce • Ability to maintain discretion, handle sensitive information, and maintain security best practices • Familiarity with security standards and regulations relevant to AI and data privacy • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Strong hands-on expertise configuring, administering, and maintaining Atlassian Cloud products, including JIRA, Service Management, and Confluence • Excitement and enthusiasm for open source and better internet security • No visa sponsorship is offered at this time
