• Build, maintain, and enhance AXIS pricing models for individual life insurance products • Update assumptions and develop model inputs and outputs • Conduct sensitivity and scenario testing • Perform actuarial analyses supporting new product development, product enhancements, and pricing initiatives • Evaluate pricing outcomes, experience studies, and market trends • Provide insights and recommendations for product design and pricing decisions • Collaborate with actuarial, product, finance, operations, and other business areas • Prepare information for reinsurance quotations and review pricing analyses • Assist in evaluating reinsurance arrangements • Develop and maintain reporting and analysis for product profitability, emerging experience, and business and industry trends • Contribute to implementation, validation, and testing of new products and product changes in quotation tools and administrative systems • Identify opportunities to improve actuarial models, tools, and processes
• Completion of at least two actuarial exams and active progress toward an ASA and ACIA designation • 2+ years of actuarial experience, ideally within individual life insurance pricing, product development, or a related area • Experience using AXIS to develop and modify models, perform pricing analyses, and conduct sensitivity and scenario testing • Advanced Excel skills, including experience working with complex spreadsheets and formulas • Experience with VBA is considered an asset • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills • Ability to translate complex actuarial findings into clear business insights • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Exposure to reinsurance and/or IFRS 17 is considered an asset • English is required, written and verbal, to provide services to customers and communicate with internal stakeholders • Bilingualism (ENG/FR) is considered an asset
