📋 Description

• Build data pipelines and scalable data processing systems in cloud environments • Design, construct, and test data lakes, data warehouses, data lake houses, and databases • Design and implement data pipelines using cloud-native tools and services • Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data ingestion and transformation • Write and optimize SQL and Python queries for data retrieval and analysis • Optimize data workflows to improve performance and efficiency • Collaborate with leadership, analysts, Research, and cross-functional teams to define data requirements and reporting needs across departments • Implement data solutions aligned with business and technical requirements • Apply data governance, access controls, security, and compliance standards • Provide system troubleshooting and support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field • Minimum of Five (5) or more years of experience in data engineering or related roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) • Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) • Understanding of data modeling and database design principles • Ability to design and document end-to-end processes, including steps, dependencies, systems of record, and roles of involved parties • Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products • Strong attention to detail, with excellent proofreading and editing skills • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java
