📋 Description

• Understand customer needs and provide credit and lending-related sales and service to BMO customers or prospects • Advise customers on lending/credit strategies and products aligned with their objectives • Fulfill customer sales and service activities according to approved procedures • Identify and refer customers to other business groups as needed • Integrate marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations • Probe to understand customer needs and provide personal banking and lending strategy advice • Escalate complex or unresolved customer situations to managers • Process customer requests accurately • Maintain current knowledge of personal banking products, practices, and trends • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business objectives • Manage transactional outcomes of customer calls or refer them to appropriate internal groups • Maintain confidentiality of customer and Bank information • Identify and report suspicious activity patterns related to money laundering • Follow regulatory and compliance requirements, including AML/ATF, FCAC consumer provisions, and Privacy Act requirements • Complete standardized tasks under supervision • Perform initial problem solving within established rules and escalate when required • Apply BMO's Risk Management Framework and make sound, risk-informed decisions • Work Asian Market hours: Monday–Friday 9:00am–8:00pm EST; Saturday 10:00am–8:00pm EST

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience • Fluent in written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese • Comfortable working in a Contact Centre environment handling inbound calls • Knowledge of personal banking products • Knowledge of competitive marketplace and trends in product offerings • Knowledge of contact centre operational processes and policies • Knowledge of call centre technology, processes, and metrics • Basic knowledge learned on the job • Basic verbal and written communication skills in a business environment • Basic organization skills in a business environment • Basic collaboration and team skills in a business environment • Fully flexible availability for Asian Market hours, including holidays
