📋 Description

• Manage delinquent mortgage and loan accounts • Ensure that foreclosure proceedings are initiated and tracked in a timely and compliant manner • Coordinate with legal teams, real estate agents, and internal departments • Prepare and review foreclosure documentation with precision • Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to management • Monitor and manage overdue mortgage or loan accounts • Ensure timely and accurate processing of foreclosure actions • Execute established loss mitigation processes for non-performing and high-risk accounts • Address more complex escalated customer requests and transactions • Provide advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions • Develop action plans and solutions to maximize recovery and safeguard the Bank’s interests • Support the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders • Review accounts and analyze data and information to determine probability of collection

🎯 Requirements

• Typically between 3 - 5 years of relevant experience • Post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Knowledge of Credit Qualifications • Knowledge of federal, state/provincial and local laws pertaining to Consumer Collections • Good knowledge of BMO products and services • In-depth verbal & written communication skills • Collaboration & team skills - In-depth • Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth • Influence skills - In-depth • Proficient in Microsoft Excel - In depth
