📋 Description

• Manage the full cycle of fund accounting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and accounting standards while preparing and reviewing financial reports • Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors • Develop and monitor accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and financial controls • Oversee portfolio investment valuation and accurate calculation of net asset values (NAV) • Provide analytical support for fund performance reporting and management decision-making • Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends • Oversee daily fund accounting operations and prepare and review financial statements and reports • Reconcile cash, positions, and other transactional data, identifying and resolving discrepancies • Collaborate with internal and external auditors on regulatory and internal policy compliance • Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures • Support development of automated solutions to streamline accounting processes and reporting • Mentor and share knowledge with team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within an asset management or financial services background in an Alternative Investment environment • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools, with advanced Excel skills • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently • Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables and complex formulas • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and data management tools • Exceptional attention to detail • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for mentorship and knowledge sharing • Candidates are encouraged to apply if they meet a majority of the qualifications, even if they do not meet every requirement
