• Deliver critical lending operations processes, including loan administration and servicing activities • Execute payments, transactions, service requests, administrative activities, and stakeholder request fulfillment within service-level agreements • Advise and guide the assigned business/group on solution implementation • Support strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders • Respond to standard and non-standard inquiries from internal business partners and external customers • Monitor and track performance and address issues • Integrate information from multiple sources to improve processes, analysis, and reporting • Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations • Gather and format data for regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards • Support change management execution and sustainment activities • Resolve standard issues and escalate non-routine issues • Provide input into continuous process and procedure improvement, and participate in project and product/process implementation • Process service requests and transactions accurately and timely according to policies, procedures, and SLAs • Check and reconcile information and documentation for accuracy and completeness • Identify and resolve discrepancies and escalate issues as needed • Distribute, collect, file, and manage documentation and information • Data enter, review, and verify loan information and documentation • Maintain proper records • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships • Collaborate on new processes/systems and improvements to existing systems and processes • Maintain understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risks • Support development of tools and delivery of training • Propose creative solutions and exercise judgment to diagnose and solve problems • Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework, Risk Culture, Risk Appetite, policies, laws, and regulations
• Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience • In-depth knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the business unit’s key products and services, processes and controls • In-depth knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business • Good prioritization skills • In-depth PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience • In-depth verbal and written communication skills • In-depth collaboration and team skills • In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills • In-depth influence skills • Understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risks • Ability to work mostly independently
