📋 Description

• Define and own the multi-year strategy and roadmap for Search & Match • Link algorithmic advancements to business outcomes, enterprise customer value, and job seeker engagement • Drive search, ranking, and recommendation strategies across B2C and B2B marketplace workflows • Govern team capacity, compute/infrastructure investments, and feature prioritization • Evaluate trends in search, vector embeddings, and machine learning • Translate search performance, algorithmic models, and marketplace dynamics into executive and board-ready presentations • Build consensus across Engineering, Data Science, UX, Enterprise GTM, and Consumer Operations • Guide teams through strategic pivots, organizational priorities, and technology changes • Lead cross-functional product squads across match scoring, candidate indexing, search relevance, and recommendation feeds • Establish metrics for precision, recall, match relevance, search latency, and marketplace liquidity • Oversee A/B testing and experimentation protocols • Coach and develop Product Managers • Establish operational frameworks, governance rituals, and decision-making standards

🎯 Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in product management, with significant experience leading two-sided marketplaces, search engines, recommendation systems, or match platforms • Exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities; able to influence executive leadership, translate complex technical topics into business impact, and drive organizational consensus • Deep commercial intuition connecting algorithmic performance to platform health and client retention • Proven experience balancing B2C consumer discovery and B2B enterprise/recruiter search workflows • Experience shaping functional product strategies, managing engineering trade-offs, and maximizing investment ROI without direct P&L management • Cross-functional leadership across Data Science, Machine Learning, UX, and Commercial teams • Demonstrated success coaching, mentoring, and leading product managers • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical, quantitative, or business field (or equivalent practical experience) • Full-time residency in one of BOLD’s eligible U.S. states or territories
