📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • We’re seeking a skilled Intermediate Laravel Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to building scalable, high-performance web applications. • If you’re passionate about clean code, robust APIs, and solving complex backend challenges, we’d love to meet you! • As an Intermediate Laravel Backend Developer, you’ll design, develop, and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs for our web applications. • You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable solutions while adhering to best practices in Laravel development. • Develop, test, and maintain backend components using PHP/Laravel. • Build and optimize RESTful APIs for web/mobile apps and third-party integrations. • Design and manage database schemas (MySQL, PostgreSQL) using Laravel migrations and Eloquent ORM. • Optimize application performance (caching, query tuning, server configuration). • Conduct code reviews and enforce PSR standards, SOLID principles, and MVC patterns. • Troubleshoot and debug issues across development/production environments. • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements. • Write unit/feature tests using PHPUnit or similar tools (TDD/BDD experience is a plus). • Document technical specifications and workflows. • Stay updated with Laravel updates, packages, and industry trends.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel framework (v8+ preferred). • Proficiency in Eloquent ORM, migrations, and database design. • Experience building RESTful APIs (authentication, rate limiting, versioning). • Strong SQL knowledge (query optimization, indexing, transactions). • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools. • Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). • Knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT, Sanctum) and best practices. • Experience with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest).
