📋 Description

• Design, execute, and interpret integrative computational analyses spanning multiomics datasets to accelerate therapeutic discovery in rare and genetically defined diseases • Identify opportunities where diverse biological data can answer challenging scientific questions • Generate therapeutic hypotheses and advance biomarker discovery • Leverage AI-enabled computational approaches while applying sound scientific judgment • Contribute to or independently lead computational analyses across diverse disease programs, depending on experience • Analyze and integrate public and internal datasets to generate, prioritize, and refine therapeutic hypotheses • Collaborate with cross-functional scientists to translate computational analyses into actionable scientific insights • Communicate results through presentations, written reports, scientific publications, and conferences

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Genetics, or a related quantitative discipline • 2+ years of industry and/or postdoctoral experience; 5+ years for Senior level • Experience applying computational methods to large-scale biological datasets • Experience analyzing transcriptomic, proteomic, genetic, and/or related biological datasets • Working proficiency in Python for scientific computing and data analysis • Ability to rapidly learn new disease areas, identify appropriate datasets, and integrate diverse evidence into actionable scientific insights • Excellent communication skills • Ability to thrive as an independent contributor in a collaborative, fast-moving research environment • Preferred: experience supporting biomarker discovery, translational research, or target identification in biotechnology or pharmaceutical settings • Preferred: experience with transcriptomic approaches, particularly single-cell RNA sequencing • Strongly preferred: experience with spatial transcriptomics or related cellular profiling technologies • Preferred: experience using large language models and agentic AI workflows for computational biology research, with scientific validation of outputs • Preferred: deep expertise in at least one area of computational biology while contributing broadly across multiomics analyses
