📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain PHP and Python services and RESTful APIs across the full stack • Focus on scalability, security, and long-term maintainability • Own features from technical design through deployment • Make architectural decisions about data models, API contracts, and system interactions • Work with MySQL, JSON data structures, and third-party integrations across banking cores and payment networks • Develop deep understanding of credit card programs, rewards, and payment processing • Contribute to technical planning and cross-functional discussions with product and design • Mentor junior engineers through pairing and knowledge sharing • Ship code to production and contribute to systems powering credit card issuance, real-time rewards, and payment processing

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional development experience • Solid OOP fundamentals • Deep familiarity with RESTful API design • MySQL query optimization experience • Experience working with complex data structures • Experience making architectural decisions and designing solutions • Comfort working across the full stack • Ability to work autonomously in a remote, async-first environment • Strong written communication for documentation, technical proposals, and sync/async discussion • Comfort with remote-first, synchronous and asynchronous daily collaboration • Bonus: experience in fintech, payments, or credit card infrastructure • Bonus: familiarity with multi-tenant platform architecture or real-time transaction processing • Bonus: experience with LLM APIs or AI-assisted development tools • Bonus: understanding of PCI DSS and SOC2
