• Work with network administrators, system administrators, developers, business managers, and end users to manage IT environment security • Monitor evolving security issues and identify preventive and detective measures • Support daily operational tasks and enterprise-wide projects • Implement technical standards and manage enterprise security and monitoring controls • Participate in security incident response, including malware, intrusion detection/prevention, and data loss prevention incidents • Maintain continuous systems monitoring and vulnerability management • Track and report security KPIs and metrics to management • Support regulatory compliance initiatives, including PCI, SOX, and HIPAA • Provide technical support for security systems such as anti-malware and encryption • Evaluate IT policy compliance and manage policy exceptions • Review security configurations of key systems • Support security management, architecture, and documentation • Assist with security training for new associate orientation • Design and execute security awareness programs • Execute security projects and prepare project plans and progress documentation • Perform risk assessments according to Brookdale specifications • Assist with security planning, development, and implementation across platforms and applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science and one to three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Well-rounded understanding of technology, operations, and key business processes • Re-engineering/process improvement experience • Experience leading and coaching quality improvement projects • Basic analytic ability and working knowledge of a relevant skill or discipline • Ability to understand the work environment, processes, and organization • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, and hear • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds • Ability to interact with co-workers, residents, or vendors • Occasional travel required • No certifications, licenses, or other special requirements
