📋 Description

• Independently manage multiple Test and Balance projects of varying size and complexity • Oversee TAB and Commissioning field crews to ensure adherence to procedures and testing accuracy • Request and review mechanical drawings, HVAC submittals, and specifications • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties and vendors • Participate in contractor meetings for project planning and scheduling • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques • Review air balancing and commissioning reports with engineering teams and contractors to develop scopes of work addressing site issues or deficiencies • Communicate findings and recommendations to customers, project engagement managers, and executive teams • Manage projects associated with approved recommended solutions • Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution • Provide remote support to vendors and contractors during TAB and Commissioning • Review surveys for accuracy and quality alignment with Budderfly standards • Hold contractors accountable for communication, coordination, installation issues, and punch list completion • Complete project closeout and ensure documentation and post-surveys are filed, uploaded, and approved • Manage financial execution of assigned projects to budget • Review contractor invoices for accuracy and supporting information • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC installations • Strong understanding of mechanical systems including air balancing, duct design, VAV systems, hydronic, and controls • Certification through NEBB, AABC, or TABB preferred • Bachelor ‘s Degree in Business, Economics, or other related field of study • Project Management Certification and/or Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification preferred but not required • Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently with complex inter-dependencies • Experience in Energy space helpful but not required • Excellent problem solving and customer service skills • Extensive organizational and time-management skills to be able to meet aggressive deadlines • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required • Flexible hours are required as field crews’ schedules will vary and include some weekend and late-night work • Broad understanding of project management and operational policies, procedures, and practices • Highly developed interpersonal, analytical, oral and written communication skills • Creative problem-solving and multitasking ability
