📋 Description

• Plan, lead, and execute third-party audits under IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements • Assess quality management system effectiveness and identify nonconformities, risks, and improvement opportunities • Prepare audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans • Present audit results to management and stakeholders • Collaborate with production, engineering, supply chain, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to address audit findings • Apply systems engineering expertise to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes during audits • Train and mentor junior auditors and staff on ISO certification requirements, audit techniques, and quality management practices • Monitor and verify corrective and preventive actions after audits • Stay current on ISO standards and manufacturing regulations • Support management system documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and process maps • Identify process inefficiencies and quality risks as part of risk management initiatives • May supervise employees within the business unit • Travel to client locations across North America as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, focused on manufacturing processes, process optimization, or production systems • Minimum 5 years of experience managing environmental and health & safety systems • Minimum 3 years of experience as an auditor, with expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001 auditing • Ability to achieve IATF 16949 third-party auditor qualification • ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor course certification required • Lead Auditor approval from an accredited third-party certification body • Additional certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing are a plus • Proven ability to lead audits, manage audit teams, and engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit schedules • In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements • Knowledge of environmental and health & safety regulations • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, process design, workflow analysis, and operational efficiency • Proficiency in quality management software and tools, including Minitab and QMS platforms • Familiarity with industry regulations and customer-specific requirements • Familiarity with environmental and health & safety management software and tools, including SafetyCulture • Knowledge of Bureau Veritas global network and related certification activities
