• Develop clinical program strategy and clinical development plans meeting worldwide regulatory and commercial/access needs for partnership assets • Make clinical development recommendations and ensure high-quality, compliant results for regulatory submissions • Partner with core-team members and Execution Units to implement and execute clinical studies • Provide scientific expertise for investigator and vendor selection • Provide scientific and medical guidance throughout clinical trials • Review, query, analyze, interpret, and present clinical trial data internally and externally • Build and maintain opinion leader and investigator networks • Organize and present at key opinion leader advisory boards and investigator meetings • Generate, author, update, and review clinical development and regulatory documents, including protocols, informed consent documents, Investigator Brochures, clinical study reports, publications, and regulatory applications • Respond to study design, analysis, and interpretation queries from monitors, regulators, investigators, and CROs • Consult with Advisory Committees and incorporate relevant input into strategy and execution • Provide guidance and training to Execution Unit, CRO, and study-site staff • Coach and mentor team members when needed for performance and team development • Conduct regular review meetings to support studies and ensure quality and timeline adherence • Report study status, goals, operational KPIs, and quality KPIs • Champion global collaboration and consistency across Global Development • Escalate asset-related issues to the partnership program core team • Contribute to therapeutic-area research and competitor analysis • Participate in company-wide standards discussions, finalization, and implementation • Manage direct reports supporting assigned partnership programs
• MD, DO degree, or equivalent in a related discipline required • Minimum 6+ years of clinical development experience • Minimum 5 or more years of experience in the oncology therapeutic area • 10+ years of experience preferred • Professional knowledge and skills in oncology therapeutics • Demonstrated success building, managing, and developing teams • Working knowledge of applicable international compliance guidelines and regulations • Experience working in a global environment • Deep understanding of immuno-oncology strongly desired • Fluency in written and verbal English • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 20%
