📋 Description

• Guide the continual improvement and integrity of Lexia's online student and educator applications and platforms • Collaborate with technical and non-technical internal stakeholders and understand products' fit within the U.S. PreK-12 education market • Work with Product Management, Content, Learning Design, UX Design, Engineering, and QA teams to influence ideas and drive product improvements • Manage technical requirements throughout the software development lifecycle • Become a subject matter expert on the platform and technology behind the company's software solutions • Influence and help manage product roadmaps and backlog • Understand business goals, customer-facing team needs, market challenges, technical constraints, dependencies, risks, and roadmap progress • Define and prioritize product features and improvements into releases • Drive releases through user stories in cross-functional collaboration • Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, epics, bug tickets, and product documentation • Maintain a prioritized backlog and troubleshoot, prioritize, and assign bug tickets • Manage the scope and contents of each monthly release • Identify improvements and escaped defects based on user personas and expected user experience • Experiment with tools to improve requirements definition and share findings • Prepare and publish product release notes • Demonstrate and explain features and functionality to stakeholders • Create and maintain Help Center articles, user guides, personas, use cases, feature briefs, and related product documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • At least four (4) years of experience in technical product management • Experience working throughout the entire software development lifecycle with UX designers, software developers, and QA engineers as a product manager or product owner • Experience as a product manager for online SaaS products is preferred • Ability to think critically and creatively when faced with competing priorities, feature development challenges, and release-blocking issues • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences and customers • Expertise working with Atlassian's Jira software is preferred • Reliable cable or fiber-optic broadband connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload for remote work • Active participation in video-based interviews and ongoing virtual meetings with camera on • Use of note-taking tools, reference materials, or AI-powered tools during interviews or selection activities is prohibited unless prior written approval is obtained • Must contact Talent Acquisition in advance to request medical, accessibility, or other accommodations if needed
