📋 Description

• The Key Account Manager (KAM) for the Workspace product segment is responsible for partner business involving Canon office communication products within his/her assigned territory or the partners assigned to that region. • He/she analyzes and develops the partner network in the territory in coordination with the responsible Sales Manager and supports his/her partners with a view to long‑term, mutually beneficial development for Canon over the mid to long term. • The KAM is responsible for the continuous development and implementation of new business ideas with his/her partners. He/she is a strategist who must stay up to date and, together with partners, defines joint business objectives in a business plan. The KAM maintains relationships with partners and, in some cases, their key customers, and forges strategic ideas for mutual benefit. He/she is responsible for recruiting new partners and their sales staff. Furthermore, the KAM is the partner’s direct point of contact and thus safeguards Canon’s sales.

🎯 Requirements

• Completed commercial (business) training • Good industry knowledge • Sales experience in indirect distribution • Good IT knowledge (document workflow, print management) • Excellent PC skills (MS Office suite) • Strong communication skills, outgoing personality, and negotiation skills • High self-motivation, strong resilience, and organizational talent • Knowledge/experience in the “Workspace” product area • Business‑fluent German language skills • English language skills are advantageous • Strong ability for self-motivation and determination • High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure • Good rhetorical skills • Result- and solution-oriented working style

Support with cost estimates (project support) • Introduction of new products, training partner employees • Competitive monitoring • Participation in sales promotion activities • Responsibility for achieving budget (revenue + profit) • Active implementation of the Canon Partner Program • Long‑term sales promotion by expanding the product portfolio into other B2B areas
