📋 Description

• Develop, maintain and evolve the database platform and adapt it for cloud technologies • Ensure high scalability and maintainability of the components • Contribute to and review designs and code from other team members • Perform testing and provide tooling to maintain up-to-date systems • Collaborate across teams to remediate database issues • Support migration from VMs to Kubernetes

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ Years of excellent Python development experience • Proficiency with Kubernetes (writing operators desirable) • Understanding of REST APIs • Strong experience with MySQL, Cassandra, Redis or similar technologies • Experience with Docker and cloud services (GCP, Azure) • Excellent communication and self-management skills • Previous experience designing and building tooling for use by other engineers (Nice To Have) • Experience with game development or game engines (Nice To Have) • Experience with large scale services (up to millions of concurrent users) (Nice To Have) • Familiarity with Vitess or similar (Nice To Have) • Experience with Go Lang and sharding (Nice To Have)
