📋 Description

• Lead engineering for the Incentive Compensation Operations product surface • Hire, inspire, and grow software engineers from junior to staff levels • Partner with Product, Design, Customer Success, Support, Sales, and engineering teams on vision, roadmaps, and strategy • Own delivery, operational excellence, and business outcomes for the team's portfolio • Ensure user-facing systems remain performant, reliable, secure, and scalable • Set architectural guardrails and guide major technical decisions • Reimagine incentive compensation operations as AI-native through agent-driven workflows • Manage processes that help engineers work efficiently and interface well with the company • Contribute to engineering leadership initiatives and uphold CaptivateIQ's core values • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours critical-issue support and system uptime

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing software engineers, preferably in a remote-first B2B SaaS or startup environment • 8+ years of full-time software development experience, preferably in product engineering or full-stack roles • Demonstrated track record of hiring and developing talent • Track record of delivering high-quality, impactful features across the full product lifecycle • Technical depth in complex architectural problems and guiding senior engineers • Experience or a strong point of view on AI and agents for AI-native product development • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills • High ownership and a growth mindset; collaborative, humble, and comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
