📋 Description

• Provide deep business and technical expertise across Data Analytics, Data Processing, Data Governance, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning • Discuss every stage of the technology adoption cycle with stakeholders from CEOs to developers across multiple technical domains • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to assigned strategic accounts • Contribute to internal and external evangelism through blog posts, whitepapers, and case studies • Represent OpsGuru at conferences and industry events as a speaker, panelist, or subject matter expert • Guide and challenge clients to maximize value from technology investments • Oversee project teams and ensure technical outcomes align with customer business problems, budgets, and timelines • Work with Engagement Managers, project teams, and customers to manage scope, expectations, and delivery quality • Discuss budget considerations and ROI with stakeholders • Participate in sales and pre-sales activities, including scoping and creating statements of work • Support account management • Lead Architects and Engineers as a people manager when required • Conduct one-to-one meetings, professional development and goal-setting conversations • Escalate administrative or project issues and provide recommendations for performance reviews and promotions

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience delivering Professional Services on major cloud providers • Amazon Web Services experience required • Experience focused on at least 3 of: large-scale workload migrations; enterprise data platform modernization; modern large-scale lakehouse implementations; data security, governance and compliance; machine learning and/or artificial intelligence implementations • Hands-on experience with AWS; Azure or Google Cloud experience nice to have • Python for Data Analytics • Relational database design, tuning, and migration • Experience with enterprise data warehouses • Experience with data lakes, data pipelines, and ETLs • Stream and batch processing with frameworks such as Spark • Data modeling for transactional and analytics use cases • BI dashboards and data visualizations • Data quality gates, data lineage, and data catalogs • Machine Learning and MLOps frameworks, such as SageMaker • Generative AI, Agentic AI, and foundational models • 10+ years of experience in a relevant Information Technology environment • History of presenting to broad audiences, including CxO, VP, and Director-level executives • History of managing multiple complex projects with varied stakeholders simultaneously • Technical pre-sales experience and ability to provide SME guidance in customer-facing sales and pre-sales conversations • Ability to model costs and explain total cost of ownership • Experience holding budgets, modeling project costs, and providing resourcing plans • Experience handling customer requests and escalations and resolving project challenges • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to adapt communication style to individual team members • Ability to explain company business value, mission, and values to customers • Ability to provide candid and constructive feedback • Ownership of team challenges through conclusion • Ability to establish trust and professional relationships • Ability to conduct gap-analysis conversations and help define effective goals • Ability to inspire and motivate without micromanaging • Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills • Desire to operate in a mentorship capacity • Experience leading technical teams and providing quality control • Participate in recruiting, including job descriptions, interviewing, and evaluating hires • Oversee onboarding and provide new team members with resources, training, and support
