📋 Description

• Provide deep business and technical expertise across cloud focus areas • Act as a technical authority, select appropriate technologies, and drive adoption of Spec-Driven Development and AI-assisted workflows • Work directly with customers to build new features and modernize their technology estates to increase business growth • Discuss every stage of the technology adoption cycle with stakeholders from CEOs to developers across multiple technical domains • Work with several accounts to become a trusted technical advisor • Provide thought leadership and respectfully guide and challenge clients • Oversee project teams to align technical outcomes with customer business problems, budgets, and timelines • Work with Engagement Managers to manage project scope, expectations, and delivery quality • Participate in the sales process in a pre-sales or equivalent capacity • Support Account Executives and Presales Architects with scoping and statements of work • Be heavily involved in account management • Potentially manage approximately five Architects and Engineers through one-to-ones, professional development, goal setting, feedback, issue escalation, and performance/promotion recommendations • Report directly to OpsGuru Leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience delivering professional services or product management for workloads on AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure • Deep expertise in frontend and backend development • Advanced proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Svelte • Experience with state management and modern CSS workflows including Tailwind and CSS-in-JS • Robust experience designing REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs and server-side architecture using Node.js, Go, or Python • Proficiency in at least three distinct programming languages, such as TypeScript, Python, Go, .NET, or Java • Experience using Spec-Driven Development tools and workflows for AI code generation • Ability to write “prompts as specs” and manage AI-generated artifacts • Ability to align technical refactoring and feature development with business goals and growth metrics • Ability to quickly learn unknown codebases or new languages • Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, and SQL/NoSQL database internals • Ability to adapt communication style to individual team members • Ability to explain the company mission and values to customers • Ability to provide candid and constructive feedback • Ownership of team challenges through conclusion • Ability to establish trust and build professional relationships • Ability to conduct gap analysis conversations and define effective goals • Ability to inspire and motivate without micromanaging • Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills • Experience leading technical teams • Preferred: experience transforming brownfield applications into modern architectures • Preferred: experience migrating and modernizing on-premise applications to the Cloud
