📋 Description

• Lead enterprise-level Azure architecture across landing zones, identity, networking, security, governance, observability, and workload architecture • Author and validate HLDs, LLDs, blueprints, roadmaps, and architectural artifacts • Define target-state architectures aligned to CAF and Zero Trust best practices • Provide architectural oversight for large-scale Azure transformation projects, including migration, modernization, and platform builds • Ensure technical integrity, risk mitigation, and alignment with enterprise patterns • Guide engineering teams, provide mentorship, perform design reviews, and support escalations • Define security baselines, RBAC models, IAM controls, encryption, network segmentation, logging, monitoring, and data protection • Govern alignment with SOC2, ISO27001, CIS, NIST, HIPAA, PCI, and other frameworks • Ensure adherence to Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and organizational compliance standards • Drive architectural decision-making, trade-off discussions, and roadmap alignment • Support presales through estimation, solutioning, and SOW definition • Provide end-to-end technical leadership throughout the program lifecycle • Mentor and upskill engineers and junior architects within the Azure practice • Contribute to internal accelerators, frameworks, best practices, and reusable templates

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in cloud architecture, enterprise architecture, or senior infrastructure/application architecture roles • 7+ years of hands-on Azure experience, including platform design, governance, security, and complex workload migration • Proven experience leading multi-workload, enterprise-scale Azure transformation or migration programs • Strong background in security, governance, compliance frameworks, and enterprise controls • Experience developing Azure landing zones, CAF-aligned architectures, and platform engineering patterns using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform) • Experience with hybrid/on-prem integration, identity federation, networking, BCDR, and cloud security best practices • Deep knowledge of Azure-native services across compute, storage, networking, data, identity, and management • Experience with cloud-native modernization patterns, including containers, microservices (AKS), Azure DevOps, IaC, YAML pipelines, and GitOps • Prior consulting, professional services, or customer-facing architecture experience required • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills • Certifications strongly preferred: AZ-305, AZ-500, AZ-700, AZ-104, TOGAF, or SABSA • Experience leading at least 3–5 end-to-end enterprise Azure programs, ideally in regulated industries • Consulting, professional services, or systems integrator background • Strong understanding of cost management, FinOps, governance controls, and cloud operating models • Ability to drive consensus and influence senior technical stakeholders • Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capabilities • Ownership mindset, high accountability, and ability to lead under pressure • Highly structured, documentation-oriented, and detail-focused
