📋 Description

• Apply clinical knowledge and skills to processes supporting customer needs • Determine drug eligibility via special authorization using pharmaceutical and disease state knowledge • Support the Drug Review Committee in reviewing drug products • Provide drug listing and drug management recommendations • Conduct drug utilization and claims profile reviews • Perform pharmaco-economic and pharmaco-epidemiologic assessments

🎯 Requirements

• A Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy • Minimum of three years’ experience in a hospital or community pharmacy • License to practice in Alberta • Strong clinical skills • Good attention to detail • Commitment to quality customer experience • Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel; Access preferred • Demonstrated leadership abilities • Presentation skills • Experience with drug utilization/claims profile reviews • Experience in pharmaco-economic and pharmaco-epidemiologic assessment would be an asset • Criminal record check satisfactory to Alberta Blue Cross required as a condition of employment following a conditional offer
