📋 Description

• Ensure the integrity of revenues captured and billed across all health system entities • Review and assure accurate charging and strategic price setting • Use denial avoidance techniques and oversee compliant revenue management practices • Research regulatory documentation to ensure revenue integrity compliance • Maintain staff compliance with Cedars-Sinai policies, procedures, and protocols • Monitor productivity and quality goals and benchmarks • Coordinate subject matter expertise across responsibilities and liaise between Revenue Cycle, Finance, and clinical departments • Plan, organize, and implement process and business improvements for strategic initiatives • Collaborate with inter-departmental teams to implement cohesive change • Develop, maintain, and enhance the CDM in compliance with policy and the annual compliance plan • Establish denial avoidance feedback loops and improve operational processes to enhance revenue capture • Participate in or lead workgroups and committees for revenue optimization and denial mitigation • Recommend improvements and initiatives supporting optimal revenue capture • Review charge-master services and codes, charge capture, and compliance audits to ensure compliant charging practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, health or a related major required • Minimum of 5 years of progressive healthcare experience required • EPIC Certifications in HB and PB preferred • Coding or Compliance Certificate (AHIMA, AAPC, HCCA) preferred • Knowledge of healthcare Revenue Cycle trends and regulatory issues • Understanding of state and federal laws, accreditation, professional and regulatory agency standards, and licensure requirements • Knowledge of compliant charging practices, charge-master services and codes, charge capture, and compliance audits
