📋 Description
• Teach CC210 VA1: Psychology of Crime during Fall 2026, from September 10 to December 23 • Explore sources of individual variation in criminal conduct from a psychological perspective • Introduce students to biological, developmental, cognitive, and psychiatric explanations of criminal behaviour • Cover associations between criminality and genetics, brain functioning, psychophysiology, mental disorders, personality and moral development, and social learning • Deliver the course virtually and asynchronously • Teach an anticipated class of 150 students
🎯 Requirements
• Master’s Degree required • MA in Criminology or Psychology • Work experience in the field is an asset • Prior teaching experience is an asset • MEd/EdD will not be considered to meet the minimum educational requirement • CV limited to 10 pages, using 12-point font and 2.54 cm margins • Candidate Application Form required • External applicants must provide verification of their highest degree before contract award • External applicants must provide names and contact information for referees • Applications must be submitted electronically by 23:59 local time on August 19, 2026 • Canadian citizens and permanent residents are given priority under Canadian immigration laws
