📋 Description

• Be part of our Global Engineering Network! One of our clients, a leader in the Igaming industry is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will play a crucial role in developing, deploying, and maintaining the company's software solutions. • They will work closely with the development, operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure the smooth operation of platforms and related systems. • Their primary objective will be to streamline the software delivery process, enhance system performance, and drive continuous improvement through automation and efficient practices. • Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud-native solutions, with a strong preference for the Azure ecosystem (AWS/GCP also applicable). • Take ownership of complex infrastructure, automation, and application modernization initiatives from conception to delivery, ensuring they are completed with minimal supervision and within time and quality constraints. • Develop, maintain, and govern infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible, emphasizing standardization, repeatability, and security. • Design, build, optimize, and govern lean, reliable, and fast CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins to streamline software delivery. • Build and maintain comprehensive end-to-end monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana, and Kibana to ensure system reliability and enable proactive incident detection. • Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (e.g., AKS/EKS), supporting microservices-based architectures. • Lead projects to modernize and migrate legacy systems into cloud-native or containerized platforms, enhancing their automation, scalability, and resilience. • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of automation, technical excellence, and accountability within the team. • Work closely with development, QA, product, and infrastructure teams to influence, align, and ensure the smooth operation of the platform and related systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer, with a demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex initiatives end-to-end and deliver them with minimal supervision. • Accountability-driven mindset – capable of owning infrastructure, automation, and application modernization projects, ensuring successful delivery within time and quality constraints. • Expertise in cloud-native environments (Azure strongly preferred; AWS/GCP also valuable), with the ability to design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-optimized solutions. • Strong hands-on skills in automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible, with emphasis on standardization, repeatability, and governance. • Deep experience with CI/CD pipelines, including designing, optimizing, and governing pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins, ensuring lean, reliable, and fast delivery of applications. • Solid background in observability – building end-to-end monitoring and alerting solutions with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics, Grafana and Kibana ensuring system reliability and proactive incident detection. • Hands-on with modern platforms: containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS) and microservices-based architectures. • Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python or Groovy) to create self-service automation frameworks that empower teams and reduce manual dependencies. • Experience modernizing legacy systems into cloud-native or containerized platforms, driving automation and resilience at scale. • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams (development, QA, product, and infrastructure). • Minimum of 5+ years of DevOps experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity, demonstrating leadership, accountability, and delivery at scale. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
