📋 Description

• Managing your direct reports and supporting their professional development and career path, including setting up 1:1s, performance management, hiring and promotions • Working closely with designers, artists and other developers to understand their needs and ensure that your team is aligned with everyone to deliver on expectations • Guiding your team to build and enhance UI features • Maintaining and optimizing existing systems • Creating new features for the user interface framework • Implementing tools for UI artists and designers • Tracking and fixing bugs in the game user interface and user interface framework • Managing and completing tasks effectively and on time, while creating high quality code

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience as a UI programmer/engineer within the games industry • 3+ years of management experience • Understanding the elements and player experience of successful user interfaces in modern video games • Ability to build a user interface in a way that is accessible to everyone • Strong proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine • Proficiency in algorithms and code architecture • Debugging and optimization skills • Strong attention to detail and quality • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively and respectfully in a multicultural and multilingual environment across time zones is essential • Nice to have: Experience with Diegetic/In-world UI. Experience working with Common UI in Unreal. Experience with multiplayer UI. Experience with Unreal UI MVVM.
