📋 Description

• Design and validate optoelectronic test algorithms to characterize high-speed transmitters and receivers. • Characterize new photonic circuits and collaborate with designers to optimize their designs. • Develop and deploy automated wafer-level test algorithms in a high-volume manufacturing environment. • Develop automated RF test routines up to 250 GHz for receivers, transmitters, TIAs, and DRVs. • Design test stations, select instruments, and define optical and electrical routing and test strategies. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance and yield throughout the product life cycle. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the design of prototypes and products based on photonics platforms. • Track, document, and communicate progress, and report issues affecting specifications, schedules, or budgets. • Perform data analysis and support the transition of prototypes to high-volume production.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in optics, physics, engineering physics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline, along with experience in silicon photonic circuits. • Experience in a test engineering role with relevant industry experience. • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C# for developing automated test sequences. • Knowledge of passive and active photonic integrated circuits. • Proficiency in spoken and written English. • Hands-on experience characterizing photonic integrated components and circuits, including DC and RF test methods for active and passive devices (preferred). • Knowledge of optical communications systems (preferred).
