đź“‹ Description

• Administer medications (IM, SC and IV as applicable) in home or specialty clinic settings • Support/monitor administration of IV infusion treatments in the clinic and/or homecare setting • Monitor post-injection/infusion treatments as well as chart and report on all activities as directed by program protocols and standards of professional nursing documentation • Provide patient education based on program protocols, individually or in groups • Report adverse events, serious adverse events, product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures • Provides reliable availability based on the agreed upon employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics Key Performance Indicators • Coordinate daily with patients, case managers, physicians, scheduling and other departments to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments, treatments, and communication of information • Perform administrative duties such as monthly clinic audits, supply ordering and other duties as assigned • Participate regularly in team web-based meetings/training sessions with the Business Area Manager, RNE and Nurse Champion to maintain and enhance professional practice standards • Consult with physicians, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients regarding education and implementation of product specific programs • May be required to travel within your designated IBU and surrounding IBUs to meet the operational needs (Prince Albert, North Battleford, and Regina)

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Practical Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse • Experience with IV therapy is an asset • Diploma/University degree in nursing or related field • Current registration with provincial licensing body; CPR certificate • Experience in acute care inpatient/outpatient or homecare setting • ACLS, PALs, MS and CVAA Certification, and central venous lines/port experience are considered assets • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams • Able to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger team • Hold and maintain a valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver's license and insurance coverage
