📋 Description

• Coordinate and manage all aspects required to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients • Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions • Coordinate documents, submissions, and related paperwork with insurance companies and public/federal funding programs • Implement financial means tests to maximize patients’ prescription drug coverage • Coordinate pharmacy processes once funding has been obtained • Acquire in-depth knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms • Report all adverse events to assigned units/departments • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related discipline • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service in an office setting • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office programs • Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone manner • Ability to organize time, set priorities, and multitask to meet competing deadlines • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Attention to detail • Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is an asset • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset • Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry • Working knowledge of an automated warehouse operating system • Strong business and financial acumen • Strong analytical and mathematical skills • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills • Effective organizational skills • Ability to consistently meet deadlines • Excellent problem-solving skills • Excellent presentation skills • Broad training in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations, generally obtained through completion of a two-year associate's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education • A minimum of one year of experience in customer service • Ability to multitask • Experience in the medical and pharmaceutical field is an asset
