• Determine the appropriate level of quality assurance oversight for various IT systems and applications. • Coordinate with IT teams or third-party vendors to document requirements and prepare, develop, maintain, and execute complex test plans, scenarios, and scripts. • Review unit testing documentation for validated systems before quality assurance and user acceptance testing. • Create test plans and test summary reports. • Design test scenarios and configuration data for functional, integration, challenge, and regression testing. • Conduct testing in a live-like environment before formal testing. • Execute test scenarios in accordance with approved plans. • Document defects and organize triage meetings with stakeholders. • Notify the Change Management team once approval is granted to schedule the RFC for promoting tested code to production. • Provide support for security testing, environment preparation, batch schedule validation, performance testing, and automated testing. • Participate in creating and updating process and application documentation. • Facilitate user acceptance testing and contribute to third-party oversight or updates to test plans for assigned products. • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and security rules. • Perform other related duties as assigned.
• At least three (3) years of related, progressively responsible experience in software testing or quality assurance. • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a healthcare-related field. • Experience testing healthcare, pharmacy, and ERP applications; pharmacovigilance experience preferred. • Experience with integration testing or API testing. • Experience with automated test management tools. • Hands-on experience working with validated systems in a regulated industry. • Experience with GxP systems validation is an asset. • Experience auditing IT and validated systems is an asset. • Experience creating and reviewing standard operating procedures (SOPs) is an asset. • Ability to use automated enterprise testing tools. • Experience with HP Quality Center, Jira, or Zephyr is an asset. • Working knowledge of relevant technologies, tools, and software; knowledge of CDS, office productivity services, HP testing tools, or equivalent testing tools. • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to resolve system issues effectively and efficiently. • Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines.
