📋 Description

• Support go-to-market readiness and product launches by coordinating messaging, enablement assets, and timelines across Product, Marketing, and Sales teams • Analyze market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development, positioning, roadmap communication, and go-to-market execution • Collect and synthesize voice-of-customer and voice-of-field insights • Provide market, customer, and field-informed input into product roadmap development and prioritization • Develop and maintain product messaging, value propositions, target personas, and product descriptions • Partner with Sales Enablement on product and sales demos, one-pagers, knowledge transfer documents, and outbound messaging • Own and maintain product messaging across web and marketing channels • Drive industry visibility through awards, sponsorships, certifications, and tradeshows • Lead content for Cengage-hosted events and webinars aligned to product lifecycles and releases

🎯 Requirements

• Working knowledge of product marketing and go-to-market concepts, including product positioning, customer segmentation, messaging, and go-to-market readiness • Ability to analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer or field feedback and translate insights into product priorities, customer messaging, and enablement materials • Effective cross-functional collaboration with strong day-to-day autonomy • Record of influencing decision-making across multiple cross-functional teams • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience developing or supporting sales enablement assets such as one-pagers, knowledge transfer documents, and product or sales demos • Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing partners • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience in product marketing, marketing, or equivalent practical experience
