📋 Description

• Lead Chainalysis’ engagement with Congress, the Executive Branch, U.S. regulators, and influential policy stakeholders • Build relationships with policymakers and key staff while advancing business-oriented policy solutions • Develop company positions on legislative, regulatory, appropriations, and public policy issues involving financial services, emerging technologies, and national security • Translate legislative and regulatory activity into actionable business strategy and executive recommendations • Represent Chainalysis in policymaker meetings, industry coalitions, regulatory consultations, conferences, and public speaking engagements • Prepare executive leadership for meetings with senior government officials • Partner with Product, Legal, Communications, Go to Market, and regional policy teams worldwide • Advise executive leadership on U.S. political, legislative, and regulatory developments • Identify engagement opportunities with Chainalysis and Chainalysis Government Solutions leadership and account teams • Develop thought leadership content, blogs, and op-eds with Communications • Manage U.S. lobbyists, trade associations, and third-party coalitions • Attend industry events and represent the company in policy discussions • Build and maintain a network of policy stakeholders • Participate in customer meetings as a policy thought leader • Prepare internal and external enablement materials and communications

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in U.S. government policy programs in fast-paced environments • Demonstrated success winning on legislative and regulatory outcomes • Substantive experience in emerging technology, financial services, or national security policy • Command of how Congress and the Executive Branch work and how to strategically engage with them • Track record of driving successful policy initiatives to achieve enterprise-wide results • Experience working collaboratively with multiple types of cross-functional teams • Experience creating executable plans with measurable outcomes from broad strategic objectives • Strategic thinking orientation with sound political instincts • Experience managing and working with lobbyists, trade associations, and coalition strategies • Understanding of and interest in digital assets • Excellent judgment and ability to balance autonomy with leadership guidance • Exceptional communication, writing, and analytical skills • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Chainalysis data and tools • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions • Position is ineligible for visa sponsorship
