âą 7 plus years of experience in helping or human services roles, ideally within an Indigenous community or organization âą Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field (social work, counselling, Indigenous studies, health promotion, organizational psychology, etc.) âą Deep personal connection to and understanding of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and ways of knowing, being, and doing, gained through lived experience âą Expertise in Indigenous-based mental health, trauma-informed care, and culturally safe wellness practices âą Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring, coaching, or overseeing wellness programs âą Ability to advise organizational leadership on culturally responsive wellness practices âą Experience facilitating workshops, circles, group sessions, or cultural wellness events âą Commitment to cultural humility, reconciliation, and continuous learning âą Successful candidates will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check as a condition of employment.
