📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain Harness.io CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce metadata deployments across sandbox and production environments • Develop and maintain Python-based orchestration and business logic layers extending Harness.io capabilities • Author and maintain pipeline YAML configurations, templates, and reusable pipeline components • Build custom tooling for delta deployment generation, environment drift detection, backup and restore, and structured reporting • Manage container images, artifact repositories, and pipeline infrastructure dependencies • Implement integrations with notification systems, work item tracking platforms, and source control connectors • Troubleshoot pipeline failures, connectivity issues, and deployment errors • Serve as primary point of contact for deployment triage and release failures • Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle, including branching, work item assembly, manifest generation, validation, and production deployment • Coordinate metadata promotion with developers, administrators, and release managers • Provision, configure, and manage Salesforce sandbox environments • Provide operational support and guidance to development, QA, and release management teams • Define and execute the DevSecOps roadmap • Evaluate and integrate code quality gates, security scanning, and automated test frameworks • Drive deployment process improvements, environment refresh automation, and drift remediation • Maintain architecture guides, SOPs, runbooks, and onboarding materials • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on organizational goals and compliance requirements • Mentor team members on DevSecOps practices, branching strategy, and secure development workflows • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • Minimum of eleven (11) years of general work experience • Experience managing DevSecOps environments and deployments for Salesforce platforms • Familiarity with Salesforce sandbox and production environments and metadata configurations • Minimum three (3) years’ experience using declarative Salesforce deployment tools • Minimum three (3) years’ experience using DevSecOps tools such as Harness.io, Copado, Flosum, or Jenkins • Proficiency designing, building, and maintaining Harness.io CI/CD pipelines, YAML, templates, and platform administration • Proficiency in Python 3.9+ with type hints • Proficiency in Bash and shell scripting • Proficiency with Salesforce CLI • Strong command of Git CLI, branching, merge conflict resolution, cherry-pick operations, and multi-branch workflows • Solid understanding of Salesforce metadata types, sandbox architecture, deployment processes, and development lifecycle • Demonstrated CI/CD, environment management, and release management experience • Ability to produce technical documentation, architecture guides, SOPs, and runbooks • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills for deployment failures and integration issues • Effective communication and collaboration with developers, administrators, release managers, and executive stakeholders • U.S. Citizenship is required • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government Public Trust Clearance • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal • Preferred: Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer • Preferred: Test automation, Robot Framework or Playwright, Copado, advanced Salesforce branching strategies, SonarQube, PMD, Checkmarx, Docker, container registries, and sfdx-git-delta
