📋 Description

• Build end-to-end software that brings Cherry's BNPL solution into more medical practices and supports new products beyond BNPL • Make architectural decisions across frontend, backend, integrations, and infrastructure • Define and implement observability, monitoring, and metrics systems to improve product safety, speed, and reliability • Collaborate with product, design, data, and operations teams to deliver high-impact features and experiment toward measurable outcomes • Influence architecture, product direction, and engineering culture • Own major system designs across multiple products as Cherry scales into more practices and healthcare verticals

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience • Experience shipping reliable, high-quality applications using modern frameworks, APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure • Fullstack experience and a generalist mindset • Familiarity with infrastructure, distributed systems concepts, and observability practices • Ability to collaborate across timezones, including regular early-morning collaboration windows with teammates in Europe • Early-stage startup experience as an early engineer or technical founder (nice-to-have) • Familiarity with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Kotlin, Postgres, Fivetran, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, and Temporal (nice-to-have) • Experience integrating with practice-facing, sales, or operations tooling such as CRMs, workflow automation tools, dashboards, and merchant platforms (nice-to-have) • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship requirements are addressed in the application form
