• Provide administrative and project-related support for the Department • Coordinate correspondence and schedule meetings • Draft meeting agendas and transcribe interview data • Communicate with project participants and subject matter experts on project-related issues • Provide operations support to departmental and organizational research projects • Conduct environmental scans and literature reviews • Review, clean, summarize, and help interpret research-related data • Identify how research findings can inform decision-making and improve work, processes, and programs • Contribute to research reports and findings, including visualizations and presentations • Communicate findings to the Board of Directors or Leadership Team
• University Degree (Master’s), in social sciences/humanities (e.g., migration studies, international development, sociology) • 1 to 3 years of experience working in research performing administrative duties • Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to perform research • Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple requests and projects • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced changing environment as a collaborative team player who demonstrates initiative • Bilingual language requirement is non-imperative • Persons legally entitled to work in Canada • Successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal background check
