📋 Description

• Own end-to-end accounting and reporting for assigned entities and cost areas, including close, reporting, and controls • Prepare statutory and regulatory reporting for multiple legal entities across Circle’s jurisdictions • Perform month-end close procedures, including management accounts, period-end journal entries, reconciliations, and review of auto-matched ERP transactions • Analyze fluctuations in key balance sheet and P&L accounts • Prepare support for SEC disclosures and other external financial reporting • Review agreements for compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and local reporting requirements • Partner with cross-functional teams on process improvements, automation, and AI-based enhancements • Own and improve control design and execution, including documentation, testing readiness, and control-gap identification under ICFR/SOX expectations • Manage SOX, audit, and tax compliance efforts • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc accounting analyses • Leverage AI tools and automation platforms to reduce manual processes and improve reporting, close, and reconciliation efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, whether in Big 4 audit or in-house at a technology, fintech, or financial institution • ACA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent qualification • Working knowledge of IFRS is required • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP is strongly preferred • Good grasp of regulatory reporting, including requirements for financial institutions • Exceptional organization and attention to detail • Ability to deliver high-quality work on tight close and reporting timelines while managing competing priorities • High accountability and ownership • Demonstrated ability to execute complex reconciliations and variance analyses • Comfort learning and working with modern AI tools and automation platforms • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a global team across various time zones • Professional-level English communication, both written and spoken • Understanding of blockchain technology and digital assets preferred • Hands-on experience with Claude, ChatGPT, N8N, or similar AI and automation tools preferred • Experience with Oracle Fusion or comparable ERP, Slack, and Google Workspace preferred • Experience working cross-functionally in a remote-first, high-growth environment preferred
