Circular Materials is a national not-for-profit producer responsibility organization in Canada that builds and manages recycling systems under extended producer responsibility (EPR). It partners with producers, regulators and service providers to design and implement recycling programs, run supply chain procurement and contracts, provide regulatory reporting and analytics, support producer onboarding and fee-setting, operate IT platforms and financial services, and deliver promotion and education to advance the circular economy and increase material recovery across provinces.

📋 Description

• Own the quality assurance effort for a new enterprise data platform integrating and consolidating data from multiple source systems into a centralized AWS source. • Define and own the overall QA strategy, test plans, cases, and scenarios. • Lead integration testing across SAP, CRM, and the consolidated platform. • Design and oversee data validation, reconciliation, and data-quality checks. • Investigate discrepancies with development partners to reproduce, isolate, and resolve data issues. • Provide direction and mentorship to the QA Tester and coordinate day-to-day testing activities. • Produce detailed reports and metrics. • Establish quality gates across QA and Production environments for go/no-go release decisions. • Communicate test progress, coverage, risks, and results to project stakeholders. • Oversee defect analysis, triage, and resolution with development partners. • Deliver a reliable, high-quality data platform aligned with organizational standards and business expectations.

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required. • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including experience leading or coordinating testing efforts. • Proven experience with integration testing across SAP, CRM, S/4 HANA, and Microsoft Dynamics is required. • Hands-on experience with data validation, reconciliation, and testing of data integration, ETL, or data migration. • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS) is an asset. • Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. • Strong experience in JIRA, Confluence, test management and data validation tools. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Excellent listening, speaking, written, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. • Keen attention to detail and ability to quickly learn new products. • Highly self-motivated and directed, and adept in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Strong intellectual curiosity and an investigative mindset. • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. • Ability to cover core hours from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time. • Ability to work 37.5–40 hours per week. • Occasional after-hours and weekend support may be required.
