📋 Description

• Answer all incoming calls through the main phone line efficiently and professionally • Handle account maintenance requests, product or rate questions, and simple troubleshooting • Monitor the main information email inbox and respond to inquiries promptly • Prevent call backlogs, avoid calls going to voicemail, and return all voicemails before end of day • Answer customer questions and liaise with other teams while owning external customer communication • Consult callers, recommend products and services, or refer them to appropriate Bank resources • Promote Climate First Bank’s full suite of products and services • Maintain compliance, accuracy, and a customer-first approach in every interaction • Question suspicious activity and collaborate with Compliance on potentially fraudulent activity • Stay informed on legal and regulatory requirements and complete web-based compliance and IT training • Embody the Bank’s mission and commitment to social, economic, environmental, and racial justice • Pursue education related to sustainability practices • Support branches as an extension of in-branch services

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience in customer service or sales; banking experience preferred; retail or sales environment acceptable • Strong sales instincts and knowledge of consultative sales techniques • Strong customer service and communication skills • Knowledge of financial products, services, applicable regulations and laws • Ability to learn new tools quickly and leverage technology to create efficiencies • Ability to work Eastern Standard Hours • Must be a non-smoker or affirm commitment to cessation within 90 days of offer acceptance • Valid work authorization in the United States; no visa sponsorship available • Successful completion of cognitive and personality assessments • Credit and background checks before the final interview • References from former mentors and managers • Ability to perform sustained standing and sitting, frequent communication and PC use, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
