📋 Description

• Lead the full user-centered design process from user interviews and competitor analysis through high-fidelity interface designs, prototypes, feature validation, and engineering collaboration • Design user flows, diagrams, wireframes, and designs that satisfy product requirements and product design standards • Create high-fidelity visual designs and prototypes demonstrating user flows • Deliver design specifications and supporting assets to development teams • Participate in design reviews and collect feedback from designers and stakeholders • Facilitate collaborative workshops that unlock innovation • Champion the Product Triad and inspire meaningful collaboration • Iterate on application features to improve usability and drive key metrics • Assist with planning and estimating design activities, workflow coordination, and expectation setting • Conduct product research, usability studies, domain research, and competitive analysis • Contribute to and maintain design pattern libraries • Provide mentorship and guidance to design team members • Drive enterprise-ready improvements and cross-cutting product design initiatives for the Cloudera Platform

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in UX design, UI design, product design, and/or web • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects with shifting priorities • Portfolio exhibiting conceptualization and visual communication skills • Strong understanding of user-centered design processes and methodology, particularly for enterprise software, PaaS, and on-prem applications • Mastery of design principles, including grid systems, typography, and color • Strong attention to detail and consistency in design • Experience coordinating and conducting qualitative and quantitative research, usability studies, discovery interviews, and product analytics data analysis • Experience working with cross-functional, international teams • Demonstrable systems thinking skills • Proficiency in Figma, Figma Make, Zeplin, and relevant AI-assisted design and prototyping tools • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field required, or equivalent experience • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills • Experience working with cloud, on-prem, and hybrid data platforms or similar technologies
