📋 Description

• Own the technical sales process from introductory net-new sales meetings through post-sales customer satisfaction, upselling, and subscription renewals • Support customers' technical needs and discover new use cases for Cloudera technology • Design customer solutions using Cloudera technologies, reference architectures, and common patterns • Demonstrate Cloudera products to inspire customer adoption • Partner with Account Managers to demonstrate solution value and drive successful sales • Present product roadmap and vision • Interface with Cloudera teams to provide customers with a consistent Cloudera experience • Advocate customer needs to Product Management and Engineering • Participate in external publicity and evangelism, including conferences, meetups, webinars, and blogs • Align achievements with team annual sales targets and participate in knowledge exchange with peers and the wider community

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a pre-sales context • Ability to create and give technical presentations and demonstrations • Experience with Big Data, Data Warehousing or Relational Databases • Experience with one or more of AWS, Azure or GCP; formal certification not required • Experience with Data Engineering, Data Science or Machine Learning • Experience with enterprise Operations, Security and Data Governance • Experience with Unix or Linux • Experience gathering and understanding customer business requirements • Excellent written and verbal communication • Problem solving skills • Willingness to learn, curiosity to discover, and drive to make customers successful • Four year degree (Bachelor's) from accredited university required • Ability to travel domestically and internationally • Role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
