• Contribute to the development of strategies, policies, and initiatives affecting the community mental health landscape • Help set the direction of CMHA HKPR programs and services • Ensure programs and services align with the organization’s mission and evolving community needs • Attend monthly board meetings, in-person or virtually • Participate in committee work requiring additional regular meetings • Provide board governance, strategic planning, and decision-making • Offer diverse perspectives and guidance to the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Commitment to the mental health of people in the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (HKPR) community • Ability to attend monthly board meetings, in-person or virtually • Ability to participate in committee work requiring additional regular meetings • Diverse perspectives • Clinical settings experience • Healthcare experience • Accounting experience • Information technology experience • Leadership experience • Community connector with fundraising experience • Experience with community-based mental health • Satisfactory police records check required • Proof of receipt of full COVID-19 vaccination required • Applications encouraged from minority and Indigenous backgrounds and individuals with lived experience
