📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality agronomic training through virtual, in-person, print, and in-field formats to local Co-op Ag teams • Partner with commodity managers and Senior Retail Agronomists to align training with portfolio strategy, seasonal priorities, and retail execution • Provide technical escalation and enablement support • Provide agronomic expertise and field validation across crop protection, seed, crop nutrition, private brand, biologicals, fertilizers, and specialty products • Support sales and marketing initiatives by ensuring accurate agronomic messaging and contributing to campaigns • Act as an agronomy subject matter expert • Train agronomists on best practices, value creation, and consistent use of AgZone FIELD • Work with Grow Team members, ag retail management, the Crop Supplies team, and local CRS teams • Provide training, advice, technical support, and agronomic business guidance • Operate independently while keeping the Manager of Agronomic Market Development informed of weekly activities and regional agronomy developments • Travel within the territory 2–3 days per week or as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 6–9 years of relevant progressively responsible experience, preferably in agriculture • 5 years of field Agronomy experience • Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Agriculture • A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered • Master of Science degree preferred • CCA or PAg designation would be an asset • Ability to travel within the territory 2–3 days per week or as needed • May be required to complete a substance test, criminal record check, and provide a driver’s abstract in accordance with FCL policies
