• Deliver agronomic training through virtual, in-person, print, and in-field formats to Grow Team Advisors • Partner with commodity managers and Senior Retail Agronomists to align training with portfolio strategy, seasonal priorities, and retail execution • Serve as a technical escalation and enablement resource • Provide agronomic expertise and field validation across crop protection, seed, crop nutrition, private brand, biologicals, and fertilizers • Support sales and marketing initiatives by ensuring accurate agronomic messaging and contributing to campaigns • Act as an agronomy subject-matter expert • Train agronomists on best practices, value creation, and consistent use of AgZone FIELD • Travel to local Ag retails 3–4 days per week or as necessary • Work closely with Grow Team members, ag retail management, Crop Supplies, and local CRS teams • Provide training, advice, technical support, and agronomic business guidance • Keep the Manager of Agronomic Market Development informed of weekly activities and regional agronomy developments • Support farm customers, manufacturers, and industry partners as a key agronomic influencer and subject-matter expert
• 6–9 years of relevant progressively responsible experience • Preference for agriculture experience, including 5 years of field agronomy experience • Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Agriculture • Applicants must be registered or need to become registered with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists or Manitoba Institute of Agrologists under The Agrologists Act • Master of Science degree preferred • CCA designation would be an asset • Ability to travel to local Ag retails 3–4 days per week or as necessary • May be required to complete a substance test, criminal record check, and provide a driver’s abstract in accordance with FCL policies
