📋 Description

• Gather, validate, and clean financial data from various sources • Collaborate with departments to identify key risk indicators and ensure information availability and integrity • Develop data requirement specifications for banking and other systems • Collaborate with IT Solutions and Central Operations on change management initiatives • Implement and maintain metrics and models for risk measurement and analysis • Implement and manage security measures for sensitive information • Manage audits and the integrity of credit reporting, LOS, and banking-system source data • Document and maintain data lineage for data governance and compliance • Analyze risk-related data to identify trends, outliers, and areas of concern • Provide insights and recommendations to support Risk Management decision-making • Design and generate regular risk reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies • Integrate Power BI reports into institutional applications and platforms • Create ad hoc reports for specific inquiries and emerging risk issues • Identify automation opportunities and improve reporting processes • Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and IT to align risk reporting with organizational objectives • Communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders • Monitor relevant regulations and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements • Assist with regulatory audit and examination documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Business Administration) • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a financial institution • Understanding of credit union operations, principles, and values • Familiarity with risk management concepts, ECL models, and financial instruments • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a financial institution or a risk management environment • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment • Strong proficiency in SQL, DAX, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms • Strong technical knowledge of banking systems and retail and commercial loan origination systems • Strong knowledge of internet and web-based applications • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
