📋 Description

• Maintaining and updating geological databases for the project • Prospecting, mapping and regional reconnaissance • Drill rig monitoring, core logging and implementing relevant workflows and procedures (QA/QC, etc.) • Data compilation • Acquiring structural measurements • Provide information for daily, weekly and monthly reporting • Supervising, training and developing junior staff • Assist in implementing corporate safety and operating policies • Aid in developing new corporate and operating policies when instances present themselves • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Geology or Earth Sciences (or equivalent) • Registered or able to register in a GIT (Geologist in Training) program • Practical experience with exploration scenarios • Strong interpersonal, communication, time-management skills • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision • A positive and adaptable attitude to an ever-changing high demand work environment • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, GIS programs, Leapfrog Geo and other industry standard software suites is considered an asset. • Ability to lift and move core boxes/sample bags and hike considerable distances over varied terrain • Availability to work rotations up to 28 days in length and live in a camp environment at remote project sites • Legally entitled to work in Canada • Valid BC Class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s licence
