📋 Description

• Complete geotechnical logging of oriented diamond drill core • Maintain core logging data in database • Sample and cut diamond drill core • Track and catalogue drill core and samples • Manage core sample shipments • Perform pre-operational checks and operate equipment according to Safe Operating Procedures • Assist geologists as required • Work in a camp-based environment on a two-week in/two-week out rotation

🎯 Requirements

• Fundamental geologic knowledge considered an asset • Post-Secondary Education in geosciences considered an asset • Core logging and cutting experience considered an asset • Experience working with oriented core considered an asset • Valid driver's license • Able to lift core boxes weighing up to 60 pounds • Physically fit to perform the duties of the position • Willing to work a two-week rotation schedule with 12-hour shifts per day at a remote camp • Fit-tested respirator required for diamond drill core sampling and cutting
