β’ Engage, connect, and learn alongside Children, Families, Community Partners, and other Providers. β’ Plan, lead, and guide play-based experiences surrounding children's interests. β’ Observe and document children's learning. β’ Build relationships with families and involve them in the learning process. β’ Work as part of a team with Providers, Families, Community Partners, and Children. β’ Ensure safety of children and create equitable opportunities for all children to engage. β’ Maintain cleanliness of all equipment, furniture, and materials. β’ Actively engage in professional learning.
β’ Access to suitable operational space for up to 6 children. β’ Experience with young children. β’ Strong interpersonal and communication skills. β’ Strong behaviour guidance skills including problem solving, positive reinforcement, and redirection strategies. β’ Valid/accredited Standard First Aid/CPR Level C certificate. β’ Updated immunization records or signed refusal of affidavit/medical exemption. β’ Current Police Vulnerable Sector Check (not older than three months). β’ Active Food Handlerβs Certificate.
