📋 Description

• Support the IT Operations team in optimizing and performance-managing application operations • Work with databases, servers, applications, and monitoring and alerting systems • Ensure stable, high-performing, and reliable applications • Contribute to planning the overall infrastructure and application operations strategy • Assess complex system landscapes and technical interdependencies, from applications through to hardware • Further develop scalable, secure, and future-proof operating environments • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, external developers, and technical partners • Clearly communicate technical requirements, dependencies, and solutions • Support audits and assessments • Prepare technical information in a structured manner

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems, vocational training as an IT specialist or IT systems electronics technician, or comparable qualification • Relevant professional experience planning, operating, and optimizing complex application environments • Knowledge of database servers such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB • Knowledge of web servers such as IIS or Apache • Experience with reverse proxies such as HAProxy or Nginx • Experience hosting proprietary distributed applications • Broad understanding of IT, from applications and operating systems through infrastructure to hardware • Understanding of security as an integral part of stable and reliable operations • Structured, solution-oriented, and self-directed approach to work • Fluent German skills • Proficient written and spoken English • Willingness to participate in a scheduled on-call rotation as part of business continuity
