📋 Description

• Serve as ICTC's primary internal Applied AI Subject Matter Expert across workforce-development and digital-skills initiatives • Build, test, evaluate, and demonstrate AI-enabled workflows, automations, agents, and productivity solutions • Evaluate emerging industrial AI tools, platforms, and technologies for workforce development, training, and employer adoption • Develop demonstrations, use cases, project templates, and hands-on exercises for workplace AI applications • Provide technical guidance and coaching to learners undertaking AI projects, placements, and implementation activities • Advise internal teams on AI trends, opportunities, limitations, responsible use, and adoption approaches • Facilitate live, virtual, and hybrid learning experiences, including workshops, webinars, office hours, project reviews, and coaching sessions • Support learners through hands-on projects and applied learning activities • Monitor learner engagement and progress, identify risks, and provide individualized interventions • Evaluate, curate, and validate AI, automation, data-analytics, and digital-skills content from third-party providers and industry partners • Review and recommend learning pathways, certifications, micro-credentials, and training resources • Maintain relationships with training vendors and content partners; coordinate access, enrollment, licensing, and partnership agreements • Administer digital-readiness assessments and maintain learner skills profiles and pathway recommendations • Schedule, onboard, and orient learners; monitor progress and engagement • Design learning-engagement strategies, discussion groups, learning communities, webinars, and applied challenges • Recruit and coordinate industry practitioners, AI experts, and sector leaders as guest speakers • Track participation, progression, completion, and outcome metrics • Establish and monitor learning-quality indicators, program KPIs, and quality-assurance practices • Contribute to program evaluation, reporting, continuous improvement, and corrective actions • Curate blended-learning curricula and validate learning outcomes, competency frameworks, and assessment criteria • Conduct structured content reviews every 6–12 months and continuously scan for outdated tools and references • Engage employers and host organizations to align training with emerging skills needs and workplace AI-adoption trends • Support digital-credential and micro-credential development and recognition of prior learning

🎯 Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience as an educator, trainer, or applied-AI practitioner will be considered • 5–7 years of relevant experience across applied AI, digital skills training, workforce development, learning facilitation, instructional design, technology enablement, or digital transformation • Experience applying AI-powered tools, automation solutions, agents, data-driven workflows, or digital technologies to real-world challenges in industrial environments • Experience facilitating adult learning and coaching diverse learner groups • Experience curating and evaluating third-party technical training content from major online platforms • Experience designing and administering digital-readiness or skills assessments and building learning pathways • Experience scheduling, onboarding, and monitoring learner cohorts • Experience establishing learning-outcome frameworks, KPIs, and quality-assurance processes • Experience with LMS and project-management tools such as Wrike or Microsoft Project • Proficiency in automation, prompt engineering, workflow integration, data analytics, AI agents, and low-code/no-code technologies • Deep expertise in instructional design, curriculum architecture, and e-learning best practices • Strong knowledge of major third-party technical training platforms and content ecosystems • Proficiency with LMS, e-learning authoring/curation tools, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace • Strong analytical skills for defining and tracking learning KPIs and quality metrics • Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills; ability to explain technical concepts in plain language • Ability to work independently, lead with limited precedent, and manage multiple curricula and program streams • Bilingual proficiency in English and French written and spoken is considered an asset • Graduate degree and formal instructional-design, e-learning, or digital-pedagogy credentials are strong assets • AI, machine-learning, data-analytics, automation, or digital-transformation certifications are strongly preferred • National program delivery experience is strongly preferred; non-profit, government-funded, or workforce-development experience is an asset • Familiarity with Canada's digital-skills ecosystem, AI education landscape, and WIL programs is an asset
